Bangkok runs hot and humid year-round, so high-twist wools, tropical weights, linens and cotton blends wear far better than the heavier cloths sold for northern winters. High-twist wool in particular resists creasing in humidity while still holding a sharp line.

Clients based in colder countries often order one lightweight suit for wear in Thailand and a heavier cloth to take home. Both can be cut from the same measurements in a single visit.
